The Pegasus 40 provides neutral support. It offers perfect balance, both for the heel strike and the forefoot strike. Suitable for short and long runs, it ensures a fluid transition from heel to toe.
  • The thicker the cushioning underfoot, the smoother and more comfortable your stride will be. The cushioning helps absorb shock when your feet hit the ground. Enjoy a better feeling of the pitch with Nike React technology. Composed of a light and resistant foam, it guarantees a comfortable and responsive stride. It also maintains its shape for a consistent feel, run after run.
  • The more responsive the shoe, the greater the energy return with each step. With a responsive shoe, you run a little faster or with a little less effort. You have a little more bounce and you get the most out of your run. We've combined Nike React technology with two Zoom Air units (in the forefoot and heel) for more responsiveness, bounce and a bouncy feeling on impulse.
  • The single-layer mesh provides a pleasant fit and comfort. We have redesigned the middle band for a fit that conforms to the shape of the foot and adapts to all types of arches.
  • To create the Pegasus 40, we took an inside-out approach, starting by placing a midfoot band for a more secure fit without sacrificing flexibility, as if the shoe were tenderly hugging the foot. We wanted the inside of the shoe to be comfortable, breathable and flexible at the toes, arch and heel, where the foot is most sensitive, with a circular pattern designed to fit the shape of the foot .

    Upper: synthetic textile mesh + reinforcements. Midsole: synthetic foam. Outsole: rubber. Cleaning: soft brush + lukewarm water. Remove insoles for separate drying. Do not machine wash. Air dry away from direct heat sources.
